  • Continual HSE management support for field workers
  • Compliance with all government occupational HSE regulations and standards
  • Regulations and the best work practices readily available for worker reference

Health, Safety and Environmental Policy

Western Canadian Steel is committed to a strong health. safety and environmental program that protects our employees, subcontractors, clients, property and members of the public from harm.

We believe that all incidents are preventable and strive for Zero-Harm Health and Safety Culture. Environmental Protection is also a top priority for WCS. Everyone has a right to a safe working environment and through collaborative teamwork, WCS is able to implement an effective HSE program on all projects.

WCS's management functions, plans and operations comply with all company safety requirements, regulations and standards. All workers perform work according to the companies safe work practices and safe job procedures.

WCS`s management, employees and subcontractors comply with all government occupational health, safety and environmental regulations and standards. These regulations, standards and best work practices are readily available for review and reference in all work areas.

WCS ensures all employees are set-up for success in their careers through appropriate and regular training activities, safe work practices and safe job procedures, provision of personal protective equipment, and ongoing support from upper management.
